Mai organized a dinner for beaufiul women to be in a situation and be seen as a performace for Performa 09 curated by Liutauras Psibilskis at Emily Harvey Foundation

Mai participated Venice Biennale 09 as Oficiall artist of Internet Pavilion, and did a collabiration as Pirate of the Internet with Tobias Bernstrup for internet activist piratebay.org

 

Mai did a special appearance for Chanel Mobile Art party in Tokyo invited by Michel Gobert

Mai met Michael Portnoy, in 2006 at newly opened Beatrice and talked about collaboration. He was leaving his loft on Livington street and needed to get rid of the piano. So they made a party to destroy it. Mai also reunited with a long lost pianist friend Pete Drungle who was invited by Portnoy, and with the other artists from down town New York, the piano made beaitufl noise and visual effect to fall into pieces

 Mai did a Ono Yoko's famous Cut piece perforamance for Re-enact night at Mediamatic Her idea was also to promote a new logo for anti copy right/intellectual property on her body when it's revealed Mai did a perfomrance with Sony robot dog Aibo, she used the characteristic of it's programming to play with red ball. She wore red tights and red shoes to tease the dog at Electronic Orphanage Mai's first performance in a museum, for Lyon Biennale 2001. She wanted to think of a performance that will let her do her favorite thing in public(sleep) and designed this software a little animal on a screen jumps around and make sound as she plays with joystick on a couch, when she gets bored, she goes to sleep, the lttle animal if not touched is programmed to sleep too and make zzz...

Mai's very first performance she used software BIG brother, that is a tiled faces of a guys on screen, as you move cursor, the faces simply follow the move all togehter, it was projected and Mai sang random classical music humming along with the dance of the faces.
